Jeane Riley is from Fort Nelson First Nation and is of Cree/Dene ancestry. Jeane has a Masters in Social Work from the University of British Columbia and currently holds a position as an Aboriginal Patient Liaison at BC Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She has an intrinsic motivation for working with Aboriginal families and hopes to further this passion through promoting meaningful change within social and health care systems. Over all, Jeane is deeply motivated to continue her work within the Aboriginal community and finds inspiration from her community, Fort Nelson First Nation, who are “A Nation, A People – Strong, Healthy, Proud and Self-Reliant”.
